Goodwill is making a bold $40 million commitment to build the Goodwill Opportunity Center at the St. Vincent Health and Healing Hub in Cleveland's Central Neighborhood.
This one-stop facility will bring together Goodwill employment programming, co-located nonprofit partners, a community grocery store, technology lab, and essential resources — all designed to empower residents and address the area's long-standing needs.
Building a Stronger Cleveland
Inspired by Goodwill's proven 15+ year community campus model in Canton, the Opportunity Center will replicate that same blueprint of integrated services and lasting impact in Cleveland's Central Neighborhood. The expansion of Goodwill's retail footprint — fueled in part by the generosity of shoppers, donors, and a transformational gift from MacKenzie Scott — made bringing this model to Cleveland not just a vision, but a reality. The Opportunity Center stands as a testament to what Goodwill and the communities it serves can build together.
