It’s good to have a list of things to be on the lookout for when you stop in Goodwill. Every thrifter does, right?

Aside from clothes, there are a lot of treasures to be found at your local Goodwill. Each of our 26 stores has unique offerings, so you’re bound to find something fun each time you visit.

Here’s a list of five things to thrift from Goodwill

1 Baskets/organization bins: Baskets and bins can be pricy, but at Goodwill, you can find affordable options in a variety of sizes and styles. Use medium wicker baskets to store fruit in the kitchen and large wicker baskets to store throw blankets in the living room or towels in the bathroom. Use small plastic bins to store makeup, pens, batteries, guitar pics, you name it.

2 Home decor: From vases to artwork, picture frames and other knickknacks, our stores have all kinds of home decor items just waiting to decorate your space.

Some of the best — and most cost-effective — items include seasonal decor. And unlike big-box stores, Goodwill has decor for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween — and all of the other major holidays — year round. Stop in anytime to add to your collections.

3 Cute mugs/glassware: Oftentimes, you can find like-new cute mugs and fun/funky glassware in our stores at unbeatable prices. And often, there are sets of wine glasses and drinking glasses in fun styles.

4 Books: Bookworms love thrifting books from Goodwill. The prices can’t be beat for used book. All of our stores have a books sections, and we have two stores dedicated to books and media.

5 Games/puzzles: Whether you have kids or grandkids or just enjoy a game night with friends, Goodwill is a great spot to find games for all ages. Puzzles are also plenty at our stores.
