Family Strengthening

At Goodwill, we understand the importance and influence one person has on the members of their family, and ultimately, their community. It is our goal to help that one person unlock his or her true potential and become the best possible version of himself or herself. That is why Goodwill offers the following programs focused on family strengthening.

Emergency Voucher Program

Provides pre-loaded cards used to secure free clothing and household items for those in need of short term assistance. Vouchers are distributed to individuals in need, local schools, and other community partners. The voucher program is now accepting applications. Submit your voucher applications here.

Social Services

Provides assistance to individuals in navigating and connecting to community resources.

Financial Literacy

Offers financial education on topics related to personal finances.

Literacy Services

Assists adults in overcoming reading and math obstacles.


Sexual Assault, Prevention & Support services for women, children and men who are survivors of rape or sexual abuse. Learn more here.

Parenting Skills Training Program

Classroom based program that educates parents who are at risk or who have had children placed in foster or alternative care.

Home-Based Parenting Program

Provides education and real-life application with support in the parents’ own home.

Parents Anonymous®

Weekly support group for parents and/or caregivers that encourages mutual support and safe, strong families.
