Donations and shopping at Goodwill help generate the funds we need to offer job and life skills training to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Take a second to watch one of our Success Stories to see how your donations make an impact.
What happens to donations that don’t sell in the store?
If items are not sold, they are sent to our Canton Outlet Store where they are sold by the pound. What is not sold at our outlet is then recycled. In fact, we were able to divert more than 11.2 million pounds of material from local area landfills last year!
Do your stores accept donations?
Yes, all of our retail stores and Attended Donation Centers (ADC’s) accept donations during business hours through our donation drop-off centers. Simply drive up to the donation drop-off area and a Goodwill representative will assist you in unloading your donations! Find a location near you.
