New Year’s Party in July

This is the finale of sharing my journey to plan and execute a New Year’s in July party. It was a really fun experience as I shared a window into my home while I prepped for this party. Now that it has come and gone, you get to see the fruits of my labor. In this video you will see the attire (the vest I got at Goodwill) and special masquerade masks of the guests, decorations and food.

The New Year’s Eve in July party took the place of traditional Christmas in July festivities. Given the events of the last year, I doubt that many rang in the New Year 2021 like they really wanted. It’s seemed like the perfect time to throw a party and celebrate a fresh outlook on the second half of 2021 with the Pandemic behind us. In this final video of a 3 part series I bring my friends from Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio into the fold and show you how my purchases helped make the party a shining success.

In addition to the fun masquerade theme, guests enjoyed scrumptious food, cocktails and birthday cake in honor of two special friends. We sang songs around the piano, turned up the speakers and mics for karaoke and then topped off the night by floating Chinese Sky Lanterns from the backyard into the dark night sky. It was a truly magical experience. Happy New Year!!! Cheers!
