Goodwill to close remaining donation centers
Goodwill Industries stands by the state of Ohio’s stay-at-home order. All retail stores were closed last week, and select donation centers remained open.
As of Monday, March 23 at 5pm, though, the remaining donation centers will temporarily close. The following locations will close:
- Mayfield Heights
- Middleburg Heights
- North Olmsted
- Snow Road (Brook Park)
- Strongsville
- Eastlake
- Painesville
- Chardon
- Alliance
- Jackson Township (Foxboro)
- Massillon
- North Canton
- West Tuscarawas
- New Philadelphia
- Wintersville
- Ken Weber Community Campus Donation Center
- North Royalton Donation Center
- Pepper Pike Donation Center
This is the time of year that many residents would clean out closets and donate to Goodwill, especially this year with many people at home due to the COVID-19 crisis. If donations cannot be made by 5pm today, donors are asked to hold donations until centers reopen.
When it is safe to reopen, donation centers and stores will reopen based on the recommendation of the state of Ohio and local health departments.
The Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill remains open as its services provide essential functions in the community.
