In her nomination: Richards has worked on issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community. Local and national organizations have tasked Richards to speak on her personal experience around these concerns, with Goodwill’s larger DEI plan now used as a model across its offices nationwide.

“Anne recognized early in her career that her own experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community could provide invaluable opportunity to impact and lead others,” the nomination said.
