The new location offers bins filled with donated clothing, housewares, shoes and more! The bins rotate throughout the day to offer a large variety of ever-changing items, priced per pound.
An Opportunity Center will be attached to this new retail site. The Opportunity Center will provide walk in services for Goodwill outreach and mission programming. The Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“We know this community has been wanting an outlet store, and we’re happy to be able to open a site here,” said Vice President of Marketing and Development Maureen Ater. “Customers will be shocked by the variety of products they can find at such great deals. Expansions like this of our retail business provide much needed funds to help us expand our impact for our mission.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will open the store at 8 a.m. November 3 with the first 100 customers receiving a free prize (no purchase necessary).
This new site boasts a 100-foot-plus wall mural by local artist Chad Fedorovich of Cleveland Mural Company, featuring inspiration from Goodwill’s Cycle of Success, imagery from a historic Goodwill delivery truck and even an ode to Goodwill’s original mascot, “Good Willy.”
Sales generated from this, and other area stores, help fund 30 different local outreach programs. The local Goodwill Industries provides job training and placement for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment, family strengthening programs, rape crisis services and more. Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, which operates this store, serves 10 counties throughout Ohio and West Virginia.
