Goodwill Partners with Girl Scouts North East Ohio for Good Turn Day

November 3, 2017

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio, Inc., has partnered with Girl Scouts of North East Ohio in a semi-annual donation drive event, on November 4 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at local Goodwill retail stores and donation centers.

Area Girl Scout troops will help collect clothing and goods to support Goodwill Industries’ employment placement and job skills training programs. Girl Scouts collect three bags of donations to earn the Good Turn Day participation patch.

“Goodwill is excited to partner with Girl Scouts of North East Ohio to engage and educate local young girls on the importance of sustainability and Goodwill’s mission services,” Mary Moriarty, vice president of retail said.

Local Girl Scout Troops can register with the Goodwill location of choice to donate and receive a patch.  Visit Girl Scouts North East Ohio online at for more information about Good Turn Day.
