Goodwill's Report to the Community Breakfast 2020
March 12, 2020 @ 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
At Goodwill, we have been carefully following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
The health and safety of our employees, our customers and our community partners is always our highest priority.
Our largest event of the year, the Report to the Community Breakfast was to be held this Thursday, March 12 and would have boasted our largest crowd ever with more than 380 attendees expected.
Based on the recommendation of Governor DeWine to avoid large gatherings, and given the decision of Kent State University to cease all meetings and events, Goodwill will be postponing the Report to the Community Breakfast, which was to be hosted at the Kent State University at Stark’s Conference Center.
We applaud these efforts to be proactive to prevent illness and the spread of this virus.
Goodwill’s Report to the Community Breakfast will be rescheduled for a future date. We look forward to honoring and celebrating the accomplishments of our participants and area businesses at that time.
If you had RSVPed for other guests beyond yourself, please reach out to those individuals and inform them that the event has been postponed.
We will continue to monitor this situation carefully as it relates to the Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill, its stores and donation centers.
Our thoughts are with those individuals and families who have been affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
