Volunteer Opportunities

Goodwill is a local nonprofit that appreciates the community's support through volunteering. Due to some current laws, we cannot allow volunteering in Goodwill stores, but we can use help in other areas! Please find the area that most interests you:

Volunteer Application

Are you looking to fulfill Community Service Hours? The Stark County Hunger Task Force may be able to help. Send an email to stephanie@starkhunger.org

Host a Donation Drive

All the “Good” that Goodwill does starts with donations. We are in need of donations of gently used clothing and household goods all year round, no matter what. So one great way you can help Goodwill is by organizing your own Goodwill Donation Drive!

Company Give Back

Are you and a team of co-workers looking for a way to give back to the community? Then you may want to consider forming a Goodwill “Thank You Crew!” “Thank You Crews” are teams of volunteers stationed at the entrance of a Goodwill store, thanking our customers profusely for shopping at Goodwill! We provide everything you need, and the location and time commitment can be tailored to your team.

ComputersAgain is a Goodwill program that takes donated computers apart, refurbishes the parts and rebuilds like-new computers to sell to low-income families and other nonprofit organizations for a very low price. ComputersAgain volunteers perform the refurbishing work; however, no computer or technical experience is required! We have trained dozens of happy ComputersAgain volunteers who had no background in computers. But, if you are technically inclined, you will love this opportunity even more!

Note: Due to the locations where the work is performed, all ComputersAgain volunteers are required to go through a background check.
